Fannière Frères
House founded in 1839 by François-Auguste Fannière (Longwy 1818-Paris 1900) and François-Joseph-Louis Fannière (Longwy 1820-Paris 1897), nephews and students of the goldsmith Fauconnier. At the same time draughtsmen, sculptors, engravers and manufacturers, they worked for the principal goldsmiths of Paris and exhibited only from 1862 under their own names. The house was taken over in 1900 by the son of François-Joseph-Louis Fannière, then by Fernand Poisson.
